오스트레일리아의 가수, 작곡가, 유튜버

울버린(휴 잭맨)의 어린 시절을 연기한 배우,

2010년 커밍아웃, 2013년 자신의 유튜브 계정을 통해 커밍아웃 영상을 올렸다.
성소수자 (동성연애자), 미국 모델 Jacob Bixenman과 연애중

 

트로이 시반은 그 이후로도 음악을 통해 소수자로서 느낀 아픔,

혹은 성소수자의 사랑을 노래했다.

1집 < The Blue Neighbourhood >을 관통하는 주제는  (그가 스스로 밝힌 것처럼) 게이의 사랑 이야기였다.

 2집 < Bloom >에 실린 'Seventeen'을 들어보면, 트로이 시반의 목소리가 얼마나 뚜렷하고 명확한지 느낄 수 있을 것이다.
